Countdown to Kalki 2898 AD: Deepika Padukone shows her cute baby bump in a bodycon dress

One striking image featured her in a form-fitting knit dress from Loewe with a back slit, paired with high heels and elegant jewellery. The pictures captured Deepika cradling her bump, her hair styled in a messy ponytail, and laughing joyfully. She humorously captioned one of the photos, “Okay enough…Now I’m hungry!”

Just hours before sharing these personal snapshots, Deepika was spotted arriving at the event venue in a cozy grey sweatsuit. It appears she prepared for the event backstage after arriving. While she didn’t provide specific details or location tags, it is expected that she will attend the pre-release event for Kalki 2898 AD later in the day.
Interestingly, Deepika’s character in Kalki 2898 AD is also pregnant, with significant implications for the film's plot. Her character, introduced as SUM-80 or Maa (Amma in Telugu) in the film’s trailer, carries a child who might be the prophesied Kalki. Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Aswatthama, pledges to protect her and her unborn child from Kamal Haasan’s character, Supreme Yaskin/Kali. Meanwhile, Prabhas portrays Bhairava, a bounty hunter determined to bring her back to the Complex from which she has presumably escaped.

Kalki 2898 AD is set in a dystopian future where people struggle to survive in Kashi, while essential resources are monopolized by the Complex. The narrative follows the anticipation for the incarnation of Kalki, with Prabhas's character playing a pivotal role in this storyline.
