1 6 1 1 0 6 - Big finish for Afghanistan. Skipper Rashid Khan smoked two big sixes off Tanzim Hasan to collect 15 runs in the final over. As soon as the innings ended, the umpires called in the covers as the rain became heavier.

Wow! Just one run off the penultimate over. Mustafizur Rahman completed his spell in style, bowling five dot balls. His final figures: 4-0-17-1

0 0 0 W 0 6 - Another brilliant over from Taskin Ahmed, a big wicket and just six runs off it. Rashid Khan smoked the last ball over long-on for a big six to stop it being a wicket-maiden for the Bangladesh pacer. Taskin returned figures of 1 for 12 in four over including a maiden over.

W 1 0 W 0 4 - Spinner Rishad Hossain completed his spell with a double-wicket over. Two big wickets and just five runs off it. Rishad returned figures of 3 for 26 in 4 overs. Three quick wickets have put Afghanistan on the backfoot at the moment. Bangladesh are all over in the middle.

A wicket and 8 runs off Mustafizur Rahman's over. Bangladesh used DRS to get the caught behind decision to remove Omarzai in it. Gulbadin Naib opened his account with a first-ball four.

Another good one from veteran Shakib Al Hasan, just five runs off it. He missed a caught and bowled chance off the first delivery itself. So Shakib ended his spell without a wicket, returning figures of 0 for 19 in 4 overs. Good one with the ball for the Bangladesh all-rounder.

2 1 4 0 2 4 - Finally a big one for Afghanistan. Gurbaz (39*) smashed two fours to collect 13 runs off spinner Rishad Hossain. Boundaries for Afghanistan after more than six overs, and they need more such overs from here on. 140 plus is must to remain in the game.

Another tidy one from Bangladesh bowlers. Shakib Al Hasan came back and gave away just three singles in it. It's tough going for the Afghanistan batters. 11 dot balls in the last three overs.

Maiden Over! Taskin Ahmed came back into the attack and bowled six straight dot balls to Gurbaz. Bangladesh bowlers are in control of the proceedings in the middle so far.

What a start for Bangladesh after the drinks break. Rishad Hossain removed Ibraham Zadran and gave away just a single in it. Tanzim Hasan took a running catch at long-off to send Zadran back to the pavilion. Afghanistan look stuck in the middle. They need to change gears soon.

Another good one from Mustafizur Rahman, just four singles off it. Afghanistan are quite slow in terms of score rate in the first half of their innings. They will need at least 90-100 runs in the next half to post a competitive total. With all ten wickets in hand, they can break free now.

Decent start to the spell for spinner Rishad Hossain, just seven runs off it, which included three runs off a wide. Afghanistan are moving along well despite the run rate being just 6 per over. With wickets in hand, they can capitalise in the second half of their innings.

2 1 2 Wd5 0 1 0 - No boundaries from the bat, but Afghanistan collected 11 runs off it. Five runs off a wide delivery did not help pacer Tanzim Hasan. Runs are coming in at a better rate for Afghanistan now as they look to up the ante.

Gurbaz danced down to smack the first maximum of the match. The big six off the last delivery made it a decent one for Afghanistan as they scored nine runs off Shakib Al Hasan. With all wickets intact, Afghanistan are primed for assault from here on.

End of Powerplay! Mustafizur Rahman came into the attack and like his fellow bowlers bowled a good, probing over. Gurbaz (12*) got a four off a top edge, and that's the only runs the pacer conceded in it.

Bangladesh introduced spin in the form of veteran Shakib Al Hasan. Good, tidy one from Shakib, just two singles off it. The bowler was unlucky not to get a wicket in it as Hridoy dropped a tough chance at short cover to dismiss Zadran.

Another good, probing over from Taskin Ahmed. No boundaries, but Afghanistan openers ran a couple of twos to score five runs in it. The runs are coming slowly for Afghanistan, but Bangladesh are not getting what they are aiming early in the contest - the wickets.

2 B4 4 0 0 1 - First big one for Afghanistan. After a boundary off a bye, which went over the keeper, Ibrahim Zadran hit the first boundary off the bat to make it a good one for Afghanistan. Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Hasan conceded 11 runs in it. A steady start for Afghanistan.

Brilliant from Taskin Ahmed too, just two runs off it including a bye. Good line from the pacer. Both Afghanistan openers have played and missed in the over. Taskin kept the line right throughout the over but missed the outside edge a few times with slip behind the stumps.

Good start from Bangladesh pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib, just three singles off it. A bit of dramatic start to the contest when Bangladesh had a chance for a run out off the first delivery itself. Taking a quick single, Gurbaz had to dive full stretch at bowler's end to survive the direct hit. Easy call for TV umpire though.

This is a used pitch which was only used a couple of nights ago. Mosaic sort of pitch, expected to be dry because it was used previously. When you push on these cracks, they don't move but we have seen variable bounce. You've got to bide your time and ensure you give yourself a chance and try to extend your innings.
