The Indian cricket team has won the finals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 tournament against South Africa. Captain Rohit Sharma's men beat the Proteas by seven runs in a thrilling final in Bridgetown on June 29.
Like all the previous matches, some of the biggest consumer-facing technology brands in India celebrated the country’s World Cup win after 13 years.
These brands have been regularly posting on their social accounts about India's matches.
Similar to older matches and tournaments, food delivery platforms Zomato and Swiggy shared several posts during the match and after the win. Here's how these platforms celebrated India's win:

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Finals: Highlights
India, led by captain Rohit Sharma, emerged victorious in the tournament’s final match. Batting first, they set a target of 176 runs. South Africa put up a strong chase, but ultimately fell short by 7 runs.

's performance was key to India's win. His knock of 76 runs off 59 balls earned him the Player of the Match award.
Hardik Pandya, who had faced criticism for his IPL captaincy, redeemed himself with a crucial bowling spell. He dismissed the dangerous Heinrich Klaasen (52 off 27 balls) just as he was building momentum.
Jasprit Bumrah also played a vital role, restricting the run chase of David Miller, who took over after Klaasen's dismissal. Notably, Bumrah conceded only six runs in his last two overs, stifling South Africa's scoring.
Arshdeep Singh too displayed tight bowling in the final over of the tournament, ensuring minimal runs were scored. The tide truly turned in India's favour with Suryakumar Yadav's relay catch to dismiss Miller in the last over, sealing India's victory.
