International Cricket Council (ICC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), both post official cricket photos on their official websites. These photos are completely free and users can download them on their phones, laptops or any other device.

Both websites have albums or categories based on matches, events, etc. Simply select the album from the list and tap/click on it. For instance, if you want to download photos from India vs South Africa T20 World Cup Final match, look for the album “INDIA CELEBRATE WINNING THE ICC MEN'S T20 WORLD CUP 2024” on the ICC website or “ICC Mens T20 World Cup 2024 - Final” on BCCI website.

How to download photos


  • Visit either website using a web browser on your phone, tablet or computer
  • Select the album from which you want to download the photos
  • Next, select the photo you like and tap/click on it
  • Right-click and select the “Save Image as” option
  • Choose the location and save the image on the device.

How to set Cricket photos as wallpaper


On Android smartphones or tablets
Android phones come with a custom user interface and that’s why the process of setting or changing wallpaper varies depending on the OEM’s skin. However, one common method is using the gallery app. All the OEMs offer a “Set as wallpaper” option within the gallery app.

  • Open the Gallery app and locate the photo you’ve downloaded (look into the “Downloads” or “Downloaded” folder).

  • Select “Set as wallpaper” option
  • Make the adjustment and hit Apply, Ok, tick or whatever option is it to finalise the change.

On iPhone and iPad
  • In the Settings app, tap Wallpaper
  • Tap Add New Wallpaper
  • Choose your photo from Photos
  • Tap Add
  • Tap Set as Wallpaper Pair to apply your selection to both the Home Screen and Lock Screen
  • To create a separate Home Screen wallpaper, tap Customise Home Screen and edit it.

Tip: You can also shuffle between different wallpapers you’ve downloaded. Follow the steps:
  • In the Settings app, tap Wallpaper.
  • Tap Add New Wallpaper.
  • Select Photo Shuffle from the top row of options.
  • On the Photo Shuffle screen, set a frequency (On Tap, On Lock, Hourly, or Daily).
  • Choose a set of photos to shuffle throughout the day.
  • Tap Done.

On Windows PCs
  • Open Settings and head to “Personalization”
  • Choose “Background”
  • In the list next to Personalize your background, select Picture
  • Then, select the images (you can select multiple photos)

On Mac
  • Select Start > Settings > Personalization > Background.
  • In the list next to Personalize your background, select Picture
  • Select the photo and set it as wallpaper.

On Android/Google TV
On Google TV or Android TV, there’s no option to change the wallpaper, but you can change the screen saver and here’s how to do it.
  • From the Google TV home screen, select Settings > System > Ambient mode.
  • Select photos or albums from your Google Photos account.
