‘Alor Kole’ wraps up within seven months of telecast; To go off-air this month

After ‘Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha’ and ‘Ashtami’, ‘Alor Kole’ too is following suit. The NIdeas Creations and Productions produced Bengali serial to go off-air soon. The Bengali daily is closing shop and will telecast its final episode in June.
The NIdeas Creations produced serial has Koushik Roy as its male lead and Swikriti Majumder and Somu Sarkar as female leads.Despite hailing from the production house of the acclaimed and popular Tollywood star Prosenjit Chatterjee, ‘Alor Kole’ has been struggling to appeal to the audience. ‘Alor Kole’ essays the story of a woman named Alo, who keeps protecting her child even after she passes away. Aditya and Radha, the other two protagonists of the show, are now bringing up Pupul, Alo’s daughter. Pupul misses her deceased mother dearly. Meanwhile, Radha tries her best to fill the void of a mother in Pupul’s life. Radha adjusts to her life with Aditya and Pupul with time and dedicates herself to nurturing Pupul like her own daughter.

Throughout its run, ‘Alor Kole’ has explored various tracks. From Megha’s villainy to Aditya and Radha’s brewing romance – the makers have experimented in different ways to treat the audience and keep them engaged, but in vain. The makers recently brought Swikriti Majumder back to the show in hopes of boosting the ratings. But time has passed and the decision has been made.
However, how the makers are going to draw closure to the story – is not yet known.
Once ‘Alor Kole’ goes off-air, the channel is all set to introduce a new show in that time slot. The new show ‘Diamond Didi Zindabad’ is set to premiere on the respective channel soon.
