Exclusive - Anil Kapoor on Salman Khan's reaction on him hosting Bigg Boss OTT 3; says ‘He said be fair and firm and zarurat pade toh main bhi hoon tere saath’

Veteran actor Anil Kapoor, now hosting Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 in place of Salman Khan, recently gave an exclusive interview to ETimes TV. He spoke about his discussion with Salman Khan regarding taking on the role. Kapoor also explained why he decided to accept the hosting offer and shared the reactions he's been receiving since the promo was released.
Talking about his conversation with Salman Khan, he said, "Salman and I keep talking to each other and we spoke recently to each other and he was very happy to know that I was doing the show. He told me 'sabko sahi kar dena, be fair and firm and ye bhi bola ke zarurat pade toh main bhi hoon saath mein Tere'."
The actor also opened up about the feedback he is receiving after the Bigg Boss OTT 3 promo was released, he said, "Everything is going great so far and I also had a great time during the press conference and whoever I have spoken to everyone has liked the promos. While shooting for the promo and during the photoshoot I met all the team members and interacted with them. I am looking forward to the show and so far so good."
The Welcome actor further talked about his reaction when he was offered the show and shared the reason behind accepting the offer, "I was taken aback, I was happy and surprised and then I told myself let’s do it and just jump into it completely. It is a hugely successful show and it has been going on since more than a decade and a half. There are certain formats that you should feel fortunate that people are wanting you to be a part of, you should go all out and do it. I was very excited and happy when I was offered the show."
Salman and Anil Kapoor share a very close bond the duo have worked together in No Entry and Deewana Mastana.
Bigg Boss OTT season 3 is set to premiere from June 21 and is rumoured to have famous personalities like Sana Maqbool, Sai Ketan Rao, Vada Pav Girl Chandrika Dixit, Paulomi Das, Sana Sultan amongst others.
