Rupali Ganguly and Kavita Kaushik come out in support of Akanksha Chamola as she got trolled for her recent video with her cat

In the popular TV series Anupamaa, Rupali Ganguly costarred with Gaurav Khanna as Anupama. The audience has shown her so much love and gratitude for her performance.
Akanksha Chamola, Gaurav's wife, received criticism earlier today after posting a video in which she was seen dropping their pet cat. She received strong criticism on social media for her inconsiderate act.
Rupali responded to a user's post on X (previously known as Twitter) by saying, “Please make it clear that how much you have been paid by @TheRupali PR team to downgrade #Gauravkhanna and his wife. You are the most cruel and disgusting for insulting #AkankshaChamola who has nothing to do with crap #Anupamaa show.”
The Anupamaa actress denied the allegations and urged the detractors to address her directly rather than assuming anything. Rupali commented, "Why don't you come and meet me and then you can happily ask me this?" in direct response to a tweet that claimed she was involved in a campaign against the pair. "Jai Mata Di."
Rupali also underlined the importance of exercising caution and kindness when interacting online. She emphasised the value of spreading optimism rather than negativity and expressed concern that bringing families into public disputes could take attention away from other topics she fervently supports, such as animal welfare.
Rupali Ganguly tweeted again, this time pleading for people to let the good things in life not be overshadowed by the bad. Don't bring the families into the normal slamfests either, please.
In a video, Akanksha, the wife of Gaurav Khanna, compared a kitten to a child, igniting uproar. She holds a white kitten in the video, gives it a kiss, and then lets it fall to the ground. She claims that because you can pick them up and dump them anywhere and cuddle with them all day, kitties are more entertaining than human children.

Apart from Rupali Ganguly, even Kavita Kaushik came out in support of Akanksha Chamola. She took to her Twitter handle, and wrote, "Well, she made a silly video, yes, but she is an animal lover, we stay in the same building, she helps needy animals, has adopted strays and helps new furry parents, gets injured many times trying to help." She added, "The worst we can do is to call a kind person unkind."
Both Rupali and Kavita have been avid animal lovers and they often try to keep motivating others too.
