Advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) is becoming more common in the Indian automotive market nowadays. A number of newly launched cars come with Level 2 ADAS and offer enhanced safety and convenience features like blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking and more. How has this rapid change been developing behind the scenes and how soon will we see ADAS in two-wheelers? To answer questions like these and more, we spoke to Norbert Hammerschmidt, Vice President Components Business, Autonomous Mobility at Continental. He has been with the company for two decades and has spent a considerable time working on ADAS.
