Opposition meeting: WB CM Mamata Banerjee dares NDA to challenge INDIA

Opposition parties held their second meeting in Bengaluru to forge a common front to take on the BJP in the Lok Sabha polls 2023. The two-day meeting in Bengaluru is being attended by 26 parties and will conclude on July 18. Addressing the meeting, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on July 18 asked if National Democratic Alliance (NDA) can challenge Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). She said, “The meeting was very good today. Our alliance has decided to give a name to the alliance. Its short form is INDIA. NDA can you challenge INDIA.” The first day of the Opposition party's meeting started with the dinner meeting hosted by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. After the dinner Congress leader BK Hariprasad said that the meeting started with a good signal and it would be the end of BJP in 2024.
