Siddaramaiah lauds Chandrayaan's success; addresses the Cauvery dispute, and criticizes Tamil Nadu's petition

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah honoured ISRO for Chandrayaan-3's success on August 24. He also discussed the ongoing Cauvery water dispute, stating that Tamil Nadu's petition lacks grounds due to the prior Supreme Court verdict. "Karnataka will present its case as Tamil Nadu seeks water release. According to us, their petition is untenable since the Supreme Court finalized the Cauvery dispute on February 5, 2018," Siddaramaiah declared. The Chief Minister's statements underscored Karnataka's stance in the dispute and highlighted their reliance on the established legal decision regarding water sharing between the two states.
