Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar came down heavily at the Punjab Government while reacting to the ongoing SYL canal issue. Khattar stated that the Punjab Government’s attitude on the issue needs to change. He also accused the Punjab Government of not having a clear stand on the issue.Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stated, “The Punjab government will have to change its attitude according to the decision of the Supreme Court. On one hand, they say that they will keep in mind the rights of Haryana, and then the people of Punjab say they will not give water to Haryana.”He further added, “Both things they say by sitting in the Punjab government office. The Punjab government MLA says yes, this will happen (giving water), and the Punjab Finance Minister says that we will not give water. If you had to talk about the rights of Haryana, we would have told AAP to come and hold talks in the Haryana office.”
