CM Gehlot holds review meeting of budget announcements made in last 5 years

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot called a review meeting of the budget announcements made in the last five years for their time-bound implementation at the Jaipur Secretariat. During this, the chief minister instructed the officials to review the transfer policies made in other states. During this meeting, he said that the implementation of budget announcements made by the concerned departments from 2019 to 2023 is praiseworthy. Keeping all the sections of society in focus, 4,146 budget announcements have been made from 2019 to 2023. The Chief Minister said that the state government has provided adequate financial resources for schemes and programs related to public welfare so that the work is completed on time. Along with this, the Chief Minister said that organising “Inflation relief camps” is the best model of responsible and sensitive administration.On this occasion, the Chief Minister called for speeding up the works of the Jal Jeevan Mission, ensuring DPC twice a year, formation of RISF on the lines of CISF and timely supply of fertilisers and seeds to farmers of the state. Further, he also gave guidelines to the officers regarding other important schemes including the establishment of a new area of RIICO and the establishment of Marwar Medical University.
