Rajasthan: Former Union Minister Subhash Maharia joins BJP in Jaipur

Former Union Minister Subhash Maharia on May 19 joined Bharatiya Janata Party in Jaipur. BJP’s Rajasthan in-charge Arun Singh was present during the event. Amid a tussle between Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, he decided to quit Congress. Subhash Maharia in 2016 joined Congress and contested the Sikar Lok Sabha constituency in 2019.
