WB CM Mamata Banerjee announces ex-gratia for firecracker factory blast victims

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2.5 lakhs for the next to kin of those who died in the firecracker factory blast in Egra, East Medinipur. In addition, a home guard job will also be given to one of the family members. Also, assistance of Rs 2 lakh will be provided to the kin of the deceased in case of death due to lightning.
