The rift in Israeli coalition govt is out in open after defence minister Yoav Gallant criticises PM Benjamin Netanyahu for no alternative plan for Gaza after the war is over. Gallant said that failing to find a replacement for Hamas in the Gaza Strip will undermine Israel’s military achievements and the terror group would be able to regroup and reassert control. Hours later, PM Netanyahu dismissed the post-war future of Gaza as just ‘empty talk’ as long as Hamas remained in the region.
