The United States is reportedly moving its forces closer to the Israel-Lebanon border. NBC said that the U.S.' move comes in order to ensure swift evacuation of its citizens from Lebanon if necessary. It has also reportedly redeployed USS Wasp, USS Oak Hill and 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Mediterranean Sea.
