Shadab Shams, the Chairman of Uttarakhand Waqf Board, announced to ANI that the board has opted to introduce the NCERT curriculum in all 117 Waqf Board Madrasas across the state. Additionally, the syllabus will incorporate Sanskrit, with the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, pledging full government support for the students' education. Shams expressed confidence that these measures would enable the youth to follow in the footsteps of APJ Abdul Kalam. He stated, "Our children already study Hindi, English, Math, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Arabic, so learning Sanskrit is certainly feasible. The Chief Minister has assured us of government assistance, and we are moving forward with optimism.
