Snapchat launches its own AI chatbot “My AI"

Snapchat recently launched an AI chatbot called "My AI" based on OpenAI's GPT technology. My AI is currently only available to Snapchat Plus subscribers as an experimental feature. According to Snapchat, My AI can provide gift recommendations, plan trips, suggest recipes, write poetry, and more in conversation with users. However, Snapchat acknowledges that My AI can produce nonsensical or concerning responses at times, similar to issues that Microsoft's AI system Bing has faced. Unlike Bing, My AI is designed to act as a friend for casual conversations on Snapchat rather than as a search engine.
