India Canada Row Breaking: NIA raids underway 6 states in major crackdown on Khalistani gangster nexus

In a significant move against the Khalistani network, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted a series of raids in six states, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The NIA's operations focus on investigating the funding and Hawala transactions linked to Khalistani and gangster groups located abroad, involved in the illicit trade of drugs and weapons. These raids encompass more than 50 locations in these states. The NIA's action is connected to three cases, involving gangster-terrorism and pro-Khalistan networks. One of the cases from 2022, and another from 2023, have led to these extensive searches. An FIR has also been lodged against the Khalistan Tiger Force for smuggling weapons and explosives into India.
