The letter, bearing BR Patil's letterhead, was extensively circulated on social media. In the letter, it was highlighted that more than 20 ministers are unresponsive to their queries and suggestions regarding the development work in the respective constituency. It also stated that when discussions regarding funding for projects are needed, the ministers choose to communicate through a third person.However, the Aland legislator BR Patil acknowledged writing a letter but firmly asserted that the one circulating on social media was not the same. He refused to disclose the contents of their original letter and announced his intention to report the fake letter to the police.
