Muizzu 'Backstabs' Modi; Maldives Orders 'Anti-India' Probe While Delhi Hosts Its President

Even as New Delhi played host to Mohamed Muizzu, Maldives decided to order an 'anti-India' probe. The Indian Ocean archipelagic nation launched an inquiry into bilateral deals with India. The probe has been ordered into three agreements signed by the former Maldivian president Ibrahim Solih’s administration with India, including a pact to develop a naval base.
