Last week, Michael R. Bloomberg, Bettina Korek, and Hans-Ulrich Obrist hosted the annual Serpentine summer party, with this year’s pavilion designed by Minsuk Cho, from Mass Studies, co-hosted by Peggy Gou, Venus Williams and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Entertainment included a special performance by internationally renowned choreographer, Eun-Me Ahn, and DJ sets by DJ souls cape, Gilles Peterson, and Más Tiempo. This season, PURPLE maintained a strong presence at MFW, supporting clients across both presentations and runway shows for SS25. DSQUARED2 turned up the heat, bringing a renewed sense of focus to their vision of maximal multiplicity BILLIONAIRE elevated the modern dandy, in a new, refined manner, synonymous with luxury. DAVID KOMA LONDON blended playful characteristics with refined elegance for his menswear debut. SANTONI's immersive presentation transported guests to the intangible essence and spirit of Le Marche to the centre of Milano. JordanLuca authentically combined its English and Italian origins, presenting a collection that portrays the ethereal grace of the ballerina, and the stark world that revolves around her. Canali celebrated 90 years, presenting their SS25 collection at Palazzo Bovara. Paul & Shark brought the Riviera to the heart of Milan, embracing the colours, prints, and ambiance of the most beloved island in the Gulf of Naples for the season.

Winner of this year's British Fashion Council/GQ Magazine Designer Fashion Fund 2024 - Bianca Saunders, presented her SS25 collection, “The Hotel” at Paris Fashion week, inspired by Haitian Jamaican jazz from the 1980’s. Following on from their partnership last season, the collection has been created using responsible fabrics from the LVMH-backed platform Nono Source. Alongside this, Saunders teased her first footwear collection in partnership with the Portuguese Association of Footwear and Leather Goods and manufactured by Valuni. Last week, PURPLE client Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY, celebrated its 10-year anniversary during London Fashion Week Men’s SS25 - showcasing Jeffrey’s exceptional creativity held within the grounds of Somerset House. The collection is a reflection of the brand's distinctly British approach to style, making reference to the brand's archive and hero garments through new “animal familiar” takes on the iconic ears beanie and the Warholian banana motif rendered oversized and overripe in black velvet. Guest and Models included Tilda Swinton, Erin O’Connor, Beth Ditto, Katy England, Bobby Gillespie, Wolf Gillespie, Lux Gillespie, Cora Corre, Tish Weinstock, Princess Julia, Miss Jason, Jodie Harsh, Jack Wolfe, M Huncho Coinciding with the unveiling of the SS25 collection is the opening of The Lore of LOVERBOY exhibition at Somerset House - celebrating 10 years of club to catwalk. Charles is one of Somerset House Studios’ original residents and is still based there today. The exhibition has been co-curated by Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY, Jonathan Faiers, Bunny Kinney and Somerset House. The exhibition designer is David Curtis-Ring. Now open until the 1st of September ’24.
