We are thrilled to be celebrating a successful first half of 2024, with a set of strong sales results and significant levels of leasing activity across our Entertainment District and Outlet Shopping at The O2.    Having introduced some great brands so far this year, including Castore, All Good Things, Chopstixs, and Clip 'n Climb to open over the summer, The O2 is off to a successful 2024. Following the continual growth of our offering across The O2, we have worked with CACI Ltd to identify what drives our strong performance, resulting in what we have termed ‘social spending.’    With a multifaceted offer spanning Outlet Shopping at The O2, as well as F&B and leisure within our Entertainment District, visitors are consistently choosing our destination as the ideal place in which to spend quality time with friends and family, leading to cross-category spending and out-performing multiple UK benchmarks. The term ‘social spending’ reflects this socialisation purpose, a behaviour which we expect to become even more important for destinations in the future. Following our full leasing completion within the Entertainment District earlier this year, we are excited to announce that Clip 'n Climb, the international climbing leisure operator, will be opening at The O2 later this summer, highlighting our agile approach in innovating new spaces to further enhance the customer experience.   Taking on a new purpose-built space opposite Mamma Mia! The Party, Clip n Climb at The O2 will mark the operator’s second site in London, and will consist of a vertical drop slide and 20 different climbing challenges of varied difficulty for adults and children alike. It will join our impressive line-up of leisure brands such as Up at The O2, TOCA Social, BOOM BATTLE BAR, and iFLY Indoor Skydiving.
