  • We recently had the privilege of hosting and hearing from British Olympian Jazmin Sawyers and Well HQ Female Health Expert Dr Emma Ross at our Brooklands offices.    The pair came to talk to us about the importance of understanding your menstrual cycle, and how by doing so, you can feel empowered to work with your bodies to take on any challenge – periods included!   We are so excited that Always has partnered with Jazmin and experts in female athlete health education, Well HQ, to create the ‘Master Your Menstrual Cycle’ programme. The programme features a set of video and written resources  aiming to rewrite the rules of what it means to have your period, be in touch with your body and have the confidence to participate in sports by overthrowing the widely accepted notion that the menstrual cycle hinders a female’s sporting ability. It’s available now on the Always website (linked below) and as part of the national schools’ programme.   Thanks to Jazmin and Dr Emma for an incredible and engaging discussion! https://lnkd.in/efa4sy2b

  • Last month, our Gillette team had the privilege of launching the premiere of ‘What Makes a Man: The Reunion’, a film celebrating the long-standing partnership between Gillette UK and Footballbeyondborders. The film’s release marks an important milestone in the five-year partnership between Gillette and Football Beyond Borders that has seen educational programmes delivered at schools across the country, to help provide more young people opportunities to become the best version of themselves, through sport. ‘What Makes a Man: The Reunion’ sees some of the very first students and practitioners from FBB and Gillette’s in-school module reunite and reflect on the impact the partnership has had on them becoming the young men they are today.   The team were joined at the premiere by Gillette ambassador Ian Wright and Ezra Collective musician Ife Ogunjobi, where we discussed the importance of role models and Ian’s work with Gillette to support the ‘Gamechanger’ classroom modules. These modules aim to tackle issues of racism and provide a more diverse and authentic education on British Black history which has otherwise been missing from current curriculums but is vital in promoting equality, inclusion and respect for others.   We are so proud of the work that Football Beyond Borders and Gillette have done together. For anyone interested in watching the short film, see a link below! https://lnkd.in/es6g-Cb5

  • 🏆 We’re so proud that Venus was recognized for ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ at the Women’s Football Awards for our #MoveYourSkin campaign. Venus’ Move Your Skin campaign first launched in 2022 to help tackle the issue of skin-consciousness as a barrier to entry for women in sport. #MoveYourSkin aims to rewrite the rules and inspire confidence and empowerment in women and girls through celebrating real skin in sport – we’re proud of our work to date but there is still more to be done. We want to say a special thanks to the full team involved in bringing this work to life, including our brilliant ambassador, England Lioness Lotte Wubben-Moy – and in particular our partners Football Beyond Borders, without whom this work empowering the next generation wouldn’t be possible. Keep your eyes peeled for an even bigger summer of sport this year… 👀

The ultimate symbol of sporting excellence – the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 podiums – have been unveiled! We’re honored to partner with the International Olympic Committee – IOC, International Paralympic Committee and the Paris 2024 Organizing Committee to share a platform that athletes are proud to stand on after the achievement of a lifetime. At the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the podium represents the pinnacle of an athlete's journey, years of commitment and perseverance in the daily pursuit of the best performance, when it matters most on the world's biggest stage. At P&G, all our brands share this same commitment to creating top-performing products that our consumers can count on every day. Created in the host country of France – from the materials and design inspired by the iconic work of Gustave Eiffel to the manufacturing and assembly – the podium symbolizes excellence, creativity, and know-how. Our role in the Podium Project was to fund the collection and integration of 100% recycled plastic in France used to create the podiums. We are thrilled for the memorable moments to come as the world’s best athletes stand atop the podium this summer! Learn more: http://spr.ly/6045enzZN
