'Bridgerton' puppies looking for forever home

A litter of six puppies looking for their "forever home" have been affectionately named after characters from the hit TV series Bridgerton.

The puppies, at the Cotswolds Dog and Cats Home (CDCH) in Cambridge, Gloucestershire, each have their "own unique personality" which correlates to their namesake character.

The Netflix series, which is in its third season, follows the lives of Regency debutantes and their high-society seduction and scandal.

The Spaniel-cross breed litter is made up of Penelope - the only girl - and five of her brothers, named Anthony, Benedict, Colin, Gregory and Reynolds.

At nine weeks old, they are described by staff as "confident, friendly and outgoing".

A spokesperson for CDHC said: "These charming pups are ready to embark on their new life adventures with loving families.

"Each puppy has their own unique personality, just like the characters they are named after, and they are eagerly waiting to bring joy and companionship to their forever homes."

The centre said it is "unsure of the breed they are mixed with", but added it is likely to be a small breed due to their current size.

The animal centre has been helping pets across Gloucestershire for 80 years.

It is now seeking people who can commit to taking in the puppies imminently, to ensure they continue their learning and development without interruption.

The cost of adoption is around £600, and includes flea and worming treatments, vaccinations, microchipping and neutering.
