Besides what others have shared, the LATEST reason I WILL NOT recommend AVL is the ride share relocation now requiring a shuttle. My driver stated they were given less than a 24-hour notice. Full review by Walela Joy-Hummer

I no longer recommend AVL airport. All recent flights I have taken are delayed or arrive to no room at the gates or wait 15 min for door of plane to open. Luggage takes as much as an hour to arrive. … Full review by Michael Sullivan
