Institutions offering both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes must meet additional requirements beyond those for undergraduate training, as prescribed by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB).

Infrastructure Standards

Hospitals must adhere to national building norms and local regulations, ensuring adequate facilities for patient care, administration, and medical services such as radiology, pathology, and intensive care units (ICUs).
