Cookie Notice

Meta Careers is a website portal provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Platforms Ireland in the EU and U.K.), where persons who have applied for employment with Meta can set up an account, schedule interviews, upload information, and track the progress of their application (the "Website"). This Cookie Notice specifically explains how we use cookies to provide, protect and improve our Website, and supplements Meta’s Candidate Privacy Statements.

    What are cookies?

A cookie is a small piece of data, stored in text files, that is stored on your browser or other device when you visit a website or use an online service. Cookies are widely used by organizations in order to make their websites or services work, or to function more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information. For example, cookies are used to "remember" you and your preferences when you visit the Website either for a single visit (through a "session cookie") or for multiple repeat visits (called a "persistent cookie").

How do we use cookies, and for what?

Cookies on the Website collect (and have collected in the past 12 months) identifiers (including IP address) and Internet or other electronic network activity information (including content you view or engage with, and browser and device information). We disclose this information to third party cookie providers, as well as the other third parties listed in our Candidate Privacy Statements, and have done so in the past 12 months.
There are several purposes for which we serve cookies on our Website:
    • Required cookies: These are cookies, also known as 'essential' or 'strictly necessary' cookies that are required for technical reasons to enable our Website to operate. Without these cookies, our Website would not be able to function or offer the same level of security.
    • Functionality and Performance: These cookies are used to provide you with functionality on our Website, to remember and manage your settings (such as layout and preferences) and to improve your visit. These cookies are non-essential to the use of the Website; however, without these cookies, certain functionality may become unavailable. Additionally, these cookies help us to route traffic between our servers.
    • Analytics: These cookies may be used to analyze and personalize your use of, or to generally help us better understand how our Website is being used, for example, which pages you have visited and any errors you have experienced.
    • Advertising: These cookies may be used to help us advertise our products, services, and career opportunities to you while you browse online.

What are the cookies you serve on the Website?
