Trinidad and Tobago's Princes Town community is reeling after the tragic shooting of Sadna Gangoo, a nurse and beauty pageant contestant. The incident occurred outside the Princes Town District Health Facility, where Sadna had just finished her shift.

Moments after leaving the health facility, Sadna, 44, was fatally shot in the head as she approached her parked BMW. The assailant, who ambushed Sadna from a waiting Nissan Tiida, fled the scene swiftly, leaving her colleagues and bystanders in shock and disbelief.

Local authorities responded swiftly, discovering the suspected getaway vehicle abandoned shortly after the incident. The car has been impounded for forensic examination as investigators work tirelessly to piece together the events leading to Sadna's tragic death.

Sadna, described as a devoted mother of one and grandmother of two, was known not only for her dedication to nursing but also for her aspirations in the beauty pageant world. She represented Princes Town in the Mrs India Worldwide competition.

In the wake of her untimely passing, family members, deeply shaken, gathered at the scene while crime scene investigators conducted their sombre duties. Reports have surfaced that Sadna had previously received death threats, a detail that has added complexity to the ongoing investigation. Sadna was cremated at the Shore of Peace in La Romaine on June 30th, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and determination.
