The Cannes Film Festival is celebrated with utmost joy as world-renowned artists from the cinematic verse come together. Acknowledging and hyping each other for the incredible work done, films that far surpass the ordinary and create magic on the celluloid. The 77th Cannes Film Festival took place between 14th May - 25th May this year. Some exceptional wins this year from India. Payal Kapadia took home the Grand Prix - which is the second-highest honour in the prestigious film festival for her film All We Imagine As Light. Sunflowers Were The First Ones To Know - a short film made by Chidananda S Nair from FTII, Pune was awarded the La Cinef Award for the same. Anasuya Sengupta made India proud as she became the first Indian to win the Best Actress Award for The Shameless - it's been a flourishing few days for Indian artists at the French Riviera.
Just as how most of these International festivals go in this generation, fashion was indeed an intrinsic part of the whole shebang.
