Radhika Merchant has been slaying it on Instagram with all of her pre-wedding looks but her Mameru ceremony look was absolutely mesmerizing. The soon-to-be bridewas undoubtedly the centre of attraction in a breathtaking and elegant look.

She was wearing a traditional ensemble by designer Manish Malhotra. The lehenga, with delicate embroidery in hues of red and orange, matched the theme of the ceremony. What truly elevated the look, however, was her decision to wear her mother’s jewellery, which added a touch of sentimental value and connection.

However, it was her makeup which stole the show for us. She opted for a glamorous Smokey eye, and to complement the whole look, she went ahead with a muted mauve lip shade. The makeup accentuated her features, giving it a snatched look. Overall, the look was ethereal and a perfect mix of tradition and glam.

Let's dive into the details of her makeup look:

1. Primer: Use a pore-blurring primer to give your skin a mattified look, and to ensure that your base has a strong hold throughout.

2. Flawless Base: To create a warm, natural base, use a medium-coverage foundation. You can apply the foundation using a foundation brush or a beauty blender.

3. Concealer: Use a concealer that is 2 shades lighter than your skin tone and has medium to heavy coverage so that your undereyes do not crease and the base looks flawless.

4. Contour: To get a defined and snatched look like Radhika, opt for a creamy contour and apply it on your cheekbones, forehead, and nose. Use a bronzer to make the whole look even more sunkissed and natural.

5. Eyes: Opt for a brown-toned eyeshadow palette and apply it all over your eyes. Then, use a darker eyeshadow and layer it over the brown eyeshadow. To add definition and depth, use a black/ brown eyeliner or a kohl on your upper lash line and smudge it to make it look seamless. Use the brown eyeshadow on your lower lash line to complete the eye look. Fill your eyebrows with an eyebrow gel to make them look fuller.

6. Mascara: Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler, and then go for a volumizing mascara. Apply a minimum of two coats for a fuller lash effect.

7. Cheeks: Opt for a natural shade of blush. You can either go for light brown-toned blushes or muted pink blushes for this look. Remember to apply a light stroke and take it from the apple of your cheeks to your cheekbone.

8. Highlighter: To make your skin look like it’s glowing from within, opt for a cream-based or liquid highlighter, which will bring out a dewy effect.

9. Lips: To complete this look, go for a muted mauve creamy lip colour.
