25 years together, and looking fly as ever

It's 2024, and Victoria and David Beckham are shining brighter than ever as they spice up the internet, celebrating 25 years of marriage. Last night, they shared a joint Instagram post dressed in their memorable purple wedding reception outfits from when they tied the knot back in 1999. The post was captioned “Look what we found…” and the photo had the two of them sitting on crushed-velvet purple thrones, holding hands, looking like a million bucks.

A couple that serves together, stays together. Let's turn back time and take a look at some of the iconic outfits Posh and David Beckham have served throughout the years.

The Spice Girls alum matched with her husband in a Gucci all-leather ensemble to attend the Versace store opening party. Even though it is one of the most iconic looks in their repertoire, Victoria Beckham once revealed in a 2022 appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that “It was hot, we were wearing Gucci, it was a Versace dinner, which is inappropriate in itself.”

2. Bling it up, 2003

Victoria Beckham turned up to the MTV Video Music Awards in a floor-length white gown by Dolce & Gabbana. The corset bodice showed off the model’s figure, and lace ran down the center of the dress, adding a touch of elegance. She completed her look with silver heels and silver jewellery. David complemented her outfit in a white suit, a V-necked T-shirt, silver jewellery, and brown shoes.

At their Met Gala debut, the couple graced the red carpet with their subtly coordinated Giorgio Armani looks. Victoria’s choice was an ‘80s bridal-style gown featuring a floor-length design. Long sleeves, a daring thigh-high slit, and a suit jacket-like bodice made her look enchanting. She added a bold red lip, silver heels, and a matching silver clutch epitomizing modern, timeless elegance. David looked suave in a classic black tux with satin lapels, a neat white shirt, and a bow tie.

Victoria, pregnant with their fourth child Harper, decided to adorn a dress from her own collection at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. She wore a navy shift dress, a lovely fascinator, pumps and held a matching clutch bag. David, looking dapper as ever, was dressed in a black suit jacket with tails, a black waistcoat, a silver tie, grey pants, and black shoes. He completed the look with a black top hat.

5. Return to the royal wedding, 2018

In a navy high-collared gown with a cut-out that ran down the body and split sleeves, Victoria graced Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding. She added a navy fascinator and bright red heels for a pop of colour and a put-together look. Once again, Victoria decided to opt for a dress from her collection. David arrived in a charcoal grey suit jacket with tails, light grey waistcoat, black tie, charcoal grey pants, and black shoes. Kim Jones designed his three-piece suit for Dior Homme. This time, he went no hat.

Victoria and David Beckham summered in style at Paris Fashion Week. Victoria looked charming in a pale-pink slip dress, which was asymmetrical and ruched. She chose to wear blue open-toed boots, held a grey clutch, and wore a pair of shield sunglasses, all from her own collection. David wore a light beige oversized suit, drawstring pants, brown open-toed sandals, and square-rimmed sunglasses from his collection, ‘Eyewear by David Beckham.’
