Finally, the wait is over. Mirzapur season 3 has premiered today and some of teh eager fans have already binged-watched the entire season in one go. Those who have seen it cannot sttop raving about the last episode of the show, which also brings us to the question - will there be a season 4?
Before the release of the third season, actress Rasika Dugal who plays the role of Beena Tripathi, had revealed to BollywoodLife that the season 3 is full of twists and turns and once people complete watching the season, they would be impatient to watch the fourth one. Thus, she confirmed the next season.
If reports are to be believed, the fourth season will be the last and final one. While the makers haven't confirmed the same as of yet. The buzz suggestes the favourite and most watched Amazon Prime Video show will come to an end soon.
The gangster drama series, whose first part premiered on Prime Video in 2018, followed by an equally successful second part in 2020, has fascinated fans all over the world.

The makers are yet to confirm the 4th season and the release date for the same. Considering that it took four years to come up with the third season and there was only a gap of two years between the first two, season 4 will likely arrive after 2026. At the same time, let's remember, no official announcements have been made regarding a season 4 as of yet. Once that is done, we will definitely have some clarity on Mirzapur season 4 release date.
Meanwhile, talking about the journey, director Gurmmeet Singh said, "Our characters are back and they are in a position where they are dealing with power, so there’s a sense of madness to it. But it is for the audience to tell us, and we are open to feedback, whether it is shown validly or not. We are open to criticism. It is done keeping in mind the story and what will drive it forward with a level of maturity that we are gaining through the show as we go along."

"When we came into season two, we matured. We saw and understood things, and made sure that only when the story requires, we get into something like that (violence). The impact of the violence is still there but it was treated as an aspect of the character’s journey."
