Here's how you can enhance your confidence while tackling complex computer graphics projects.

One thing that I found helpful while setting my goals is to think about priorities, often you have very tight deadlines, especially in the professional environment, in order to remain efficient and flexible it was always advisable for me to set priorities with my goals and to discuss these transparently with supervisor’s or clients.

Sometimes it's difficult to motivate yourself to keep learning and keep up to date, especially when you have a lot of work that needs to be done. That's why it was helpful for me to integrate learning into my everyday life, whether it was reading articles or watching a tutorial during my lunch break. Applying what you've learnt is also essential to integrate the new tools and techniques into your workflow.

Essentially asking how a complete novice (as he was at the time) move to such pro level he just witnesssed the Ancient One display. The consensus answer they arrived at in verbatim was, "Study and practice...years of it". This has since become one of my mantra as I find it to be the underlying principle in gaining mastery in ANY field. STUDY & PRACTICE. Both must go hand in hand. To have/do one without the other will make growth lopsided.

I believe communication is one of the most underated qualities in the creative industry. Creative works do not stand alone; it's not about making graphic images just for the sake of making graphic images; it's always a balance between form and function — aesthetics and useability. Getting that balance just right isn't always straightforward. CONSISTENTLY achieving this is next to impossible without feedbacks/communication with clients, collegues, team members, mentors, or even our own intuition. Receiving the praise and 'thumbs ups' come naturally to almost all of us, we should learn to take the 'thumbs down' just as graciously too.

I have sometime found myself lacking the necessary inspiration to take a project to the next level, feedback has enabled me to ask myself the right questions to avoid or improve possible mistakes. Feedback can also help to promote more effective teamwork and communication.
