Here's how you can effectively handle multiple live events as a project manager.

We are master jugglers as Event Managers, and the key to preventing a ball from dropping is prioritizing and organizing the tasks for each event. Setting up a time-schedule is crucial for each event, and the best way to keep track of them is by using a project management tool. They are great tools for checking off the tasks that we can sometimes overlook, or simply forget about...such as event insurance. Trust me, I know. The overall planning may look the same for most events, but each event has its own specific details and keeping track of them is critical. Some of my favorite features is the ability to add notes to a task, extend the deadline date, and assign tasks to supporting team members. This tool will keep your events on track.

Knowing your team's strengths and trusting them to take over responsibilities that will assist you in executing the event is key. It will empower them contributing to a successful event. Delegation is a balance between trust and control that a project manager must learn because you cannot handle it all yourself.

Managing stress throughout the planning process can be difficult if you do not recognize when you need to take a moment for a break. It's also important for the team to know there is support available to them if they are feeling overwhelmed. You can be fully prepared for an event with every detail checked-off but knowing and being prepared for things that come up is key in managing the stress that comes with last minute changes.

Controlar el estrés es un tema complicado debido a la forma de pensar y relacionar de cada uno, yo me baso en el " si no tiene solución, no te estreses, pero si tiene solución, tampoco te estreses" actúa, reacciona y resuelve

En lo personal, prefiero prepararme para cualquier eventualidad, ya sea latente o no, es como cargar siempre un paraguas en tu auto, no lo ocuparás siempre, pero cuando lo necesites, lo tendrás a la mano, y ahí es cuando valorarás tu preparación.
