When managing remote teams, it's crucial to establish clear goals, objectives, and expectations to ensure everyone is aligned. Tools such as Teams,Slack are highly effective to help achieve this. Next we need to get regular feed back this can be stand ups or even 1 on 1 meetings to get issues sorted out.

As a team, always have clear objectives, requirements and their impact on overall product, scope of testing, deadlines, deliverables and discussion among team members before starting testing in manual and automation both. Also, documentation, test planning, deciding test strategy, delegation of authority and responsibility, dividing tasks as per knowledge, expertise and experience as a team lead plays a very crucial role in this remote working culture as who will work on what tasks. As per my experience, if anyone is not clear about objectives, requirements before starting testing then I would suggest don't hesitate and always ask questions to colleague or lead or junior as well if he/she knows more about it to clarify your doubts.

Use of tools is very helpful in maintaining the tasks, requirements and their updates. Documentation is key to avoid struggling in a remote working environment. Each and every thing should be properly mentioned in all testing and team related documents so that no confusion and conflicts will arise in future and current release planning. As a team, we can maintain a shared file so that anyone can update from a team and all other people will be able to see those changes when they access it to avoid confusion and conflicts between teams. Also, as a team lead regularly updating plan, strategy, tasks, all testing related documentation and reports is a very effective tool to avoid conflicts between expected and actual output in a remote working.

As a leader, do daily meetings with the team for 5-10 minutes to discuss the impediments, issues, any priority tasks, yesterday's & today's tasks. Also, always create a task for every member. As per my experience what used to do as a leader is creating every month tasks for every member in a waterfall model & in agile methodology, creating sub tasks in particular jira where testing needs to be performed & a general task where we used to update daily tasks what we have done in every sprint. Sharing my experience in case of waterfall model, we are using agile practices in every release we created epic & then we created features under requirement. Under features we created sub tasks for every individual who all are part of the release.

This is a very important aspect to understand among team members especially for team lead as everyone's way of working, understanding level is different due to cultural diversity. As per my experience as a team lead understand everyone's way of working then accordingly deal with the people in their way of understanding to make everything clear to everyone in a team.

Adopt a continuous feedback culture with real-time tools. Encourage a growth mindset where feedback is seen as a tool for collective improvement rather than criticism.

Always take feedback from juniors, colleagues to understand what we can do better to follow some good processes, practices so that with minimal efforts we can maintain regular tasks for effective deliverables. As a lead always ask your team feedback regularly what we can do better or implement some good practices & processes for effective deliverables. The team also provides good suggestions and solutions.

As and when conflict arises or seems to be like conflict will occur always first try to resolve that conflict for effective team communication and achieving deliverables effectively and efficiently as a team leader. For resolving conflicts always try good practices or make him/her understand in an effective way.
