Strangely enough, I’ve developed stronger relationships with my colleagues virtually in recent years than in the office. Just as there is “water cooler or break room chat” in offices, it’s important to connect with your coworkers on topics outside of the scope of work. Having virtual coffee meetups or happy hours (informal) can allow folks to really get to know each other and develop a stronger bond.
