Last August I went to Dallas for a fun, in-person GLOMO® event hosted by Ben Cross, SCRP. Well, as a Dallas first-timer, I had the opportunity to get a tour of BAL's insanely cool offices by Jeremy Fudge and Frieda Garcia. Not many people have this opportunity, so I wanted to share it!
First off, "insanely cool" is not how I would ever expect to describe a law firm office 😄
But in Jeremy's vision, BAL's offices can honestly rival any trendy tech company or startup, if not beat them.
🌍 Every floor reflected a different region, and every section of every floor had color, artwork and unique items on the walls, a variety of comfortable couches and sitting areas, a fish tank, and so much more.
🏖️ There was a beach area with actual sand and two beach chairs. Maybe not for client meetings lol, but I wouldn't mind sitting there for 30 minutes while replying to an email or taking a lunch break.
👺 There was a wall of African masks made my artisans that were all different an beautiful.
🍦 There was a wall of Blue Bell Creameries ice cream container tops (didn't get to try the ice cream but heard it's delicious).
🏔️ There were massive glacier photos as wall paper, and so much more that isn't pictured.
🥗 Oh and a cafeteria, lots of spaces to walk around and be active, and generally balance office life with self care and longevity.

I obviously don't work at BAL (though they're a long-time LaborLess partner and supporter, which I'm so grateful for! 🙌), but they've built something really special, both as a tech-savvy, modern immigration firm for their clients and, importantly, a place where lawyers, paralegals, etc., enjoy working.
Thanks so much for the tour Jeremy and Frieda, hopefully I'll get to come back one day! 😊
