Since 1920, Eisner Health has been a leading provider of medical, dental, OB/GYN, optometry, pharmacy, and behavioral health care as well as case management services to patients in Los Angeles County. As a non-profit, federally-qualified community health center (FQHC), we open our doors to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay, insurance, or immigration status. With clinics in downtown LA, Lynwood, Panorama City, Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys; a hospital based labor and delivery programs at California Hospital Medical Center-Dignity Health; and partnerships with schools in Los Angeles, we provided care to over 40,000 patients a year. This week marks both an anniversary and a transition at Eisner Health. After 33 years of service, leadership and caring collaboration, Dr. Deborah Lerner is ending her work at Eisner Health on the same week it began over three decades ago. We thank her for her visionary and transformative leadership and are forever grateful to her unwavering dedication to our mission. We also thank her for her mentorship and guidance in onboarding our new Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ray Perry-Moore, who we welcomed in February. From her early days with us, fresh out of UCLA residency, to her steadfast leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Lerner has been a beacon of compassion, innovation, and excellence. Her advocacy for quality care has touched the lives of countless individuals and left an indelible mark on Eisner Health. She is not only well-regarded and respected within our community but also beloved by her colleagues for her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to our mission.
