We couldn’t be prouder to announce that HAP CareSource is expanding, as awarded by the State of Michigan for our Medicaid bid. Beginning Oct. 1, we’ll have the opportunity to serve Lansing and Ann Arbor/Jackson communities, enhancing our reach alongside our existing services in Flint and Detroit. This remarkable achievement opens new horizons for us, enabling us to extend our services to approximately 1.85 million, or nearly 65% of eligible Medicaid lives in Michigan. This expansion marks a significant step towards reducing health disparities across the state. Details: https://ow.ly/OEO250SzAz0

Last week marked a significant milestone as we joined in celebrating the groundbreaking for the new Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences Research Center in Detroit. This venture aims to address and close health care disparities related to race, ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic status. We are proud to witness such an impactful project!
BREAKING NEW GROUND IN RESEARCH: Today we marked the start of construction on the Henry Ford Health + Michigan State University Health Sciences Research Center in Detroit's New Center neighborhood. This 335,000-square-foot epic space will house 80+ research teams working toward solutions to global health conditions and the new Nick Gilbert Neurofibromatosis Research Institute, the first brick-and-mortar space dedicated to neurofibromatosis research. The research center is a foundational component of our $3 billion development, meant to reimagine and redefine health and well-being for our Detroit community and beyond.
