Mid-South Engineering Company was founded in 1969 by four engineers with a common vision - to be a complete engineering service provider focused on total dedication to the client. The path to their goal was simple: work with good clients, select and train good employees, delegate authority, and allow room for the proper execution of the job. Some four decades later, the goal remains unaltered - we strive to provide unparalleled service to the client. Whether that service be for a small project or a turn-key plant facility, we treat all of our clients as partners and understand the importance of listening. We do not quit until client favoring solutions have been found and developed.

Mid-South Engineering is excited to be part of an innovative project to supply Boise Cascade Company in Oakdale, LA, with a groundbreaking gas/steam hybrid dryer. Our engineers have provided the process piping design to ensure both heat sources (steam & natural gas) travel efficiently to the appropriate sections of the dryer. These systems are specially designed to operate at the highest possible humidity with the lowest possible excess air for better quality veneer and minimized fire hazard. Mid-South is proud to work with Boise Cascade to provide advanced veneer production solutions for this project and for all future collaborations.
