About us
Mosaic Life Care is health care, re-imagined. We are dedicated to not only treating you when you are sick, but also to keeping you healthy. That’s life care. At Mosaic Life Care, we are committed to providing the best and safest care, while creating a warm, inviting environment for our patients, family members and caregivers. We’ve developed an innovative life-care model that includes traditional health care, as well as a focus on other aspects of our patients’ lifestyles that affect their overall wellness. Mosaic Life Care, a recipient of the 2009 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and named one of the nation’s top performers on key quality measures by The Joint Commission in 2010, is the next generation of health care. As a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, our physicians have the opportunity to seek Mayo Clinic expertise through eConsults. By working together, we hope to build new and innovative ways to provide the best possible care. Mayo Clinic and Mosaic Life Care share a common philosophy, commitment and mission to improve the delivery of care.

Today is International Yoga Day, and people worldwide will be striking warrior poses to celebrate. In this corner of the world, Mosaic recognizes yoga as a powerful tool for improving physical and mental well-being and can be especially beneficial for those with a cancer diagnosis. “Yoga helps cancer patients, and survivors by reducing fatigue, improving sleep and decreasing pain,” says Jess Bledsoe, Mosaic physical therapy assistant and yoga instructor. “Additionally, it supports mental health by decreasing anxiety and enhancing overall emotional well-being.” Mosaic Cancer Care offers free yoga classes every Tuesday from 4 – 5 p.m. in St. Joseph. It is open to any current or past patient, family member, caregiver or friend. Call (816) 271-7017 to make a reservation. Check out other cancer-related events at https://lnkd.in/gk4iQDxW.

Have you been to a Mustangs game this season? In case you missed it, the Mustangs started the season 12-0 and are now sitting at a record of 15-2 on the season! We captured some photos of the post game fireworks after the win on Saturday night. But, they're much better in person! Mosaic is proud to sponsor post game fireworks during the season and to be a part of our hometown baseball team. The season goes by fast, so we hope you get out to enjoy the fun atmosphere at Phil Welch 🏟️ before it's over!
