Our Vice Chair, Nichole Benolken, shared an insightful perspective on the future of The Magnificent Mile in Sunday's Chicago Sun-Times. This commentary comes at a pivotal time as her company, 360 CHICAGO, invests in the heart of The Mag Mile with the acquisition of the 95th and 96th floors at 875 North Michigan Avenue. "By partnering with The Magnificent Mile Association and leveraging The Mag Mile’s unique strengths, businesses can play a pivotal role in its revitalization. The Mag Mile is on the upswing, and we look to the future with optimism and excitement. There has never been a better time to invest in Chicago’s prized avenue."

This past weekend, 875 North Michigan Avenue became a kaleidoscope of creativity at The Magnificent Mile Art Festival! From Ghana and Argentina to local star Streeterval, artists from around the world showcased their talents, captivating residents and visitors alike. The energy on The Mag Mile was electric! ⚡️ A huge thank you to Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) Commissioner Hedspeth for her inspiring remarks and for officially opening the festival with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Her dedication to Chicago's vibrant cultural scene is truly appreciated. We were proud to partner with Amdur Productions, Inc, led by Amy Amdur, who produced the two day Festival. Their expertise truly sets the bar for art activations. We are also grateful to Nancy Capadona and her team at Hearn for providing the plaza at 875 North Michigan Avenue (and the most photographed building in Chicago) as our breathtaking Festival backdrop. Thanks also to our sponsors 900 North Michigan Shops, NASCAR's Chicago Street Race, Water Tower Place, Arlo Hotels, State Farm, and Aloft Hotels for supporting the arts in Chicago. The energy and enthusiasm from the large crowds were truly inspiring. We can't wait to see you all again at next year's Magnificent Mile Art Festival!! #ChicagoArt #Streeterville #SupportLocalArtists #MagnificentMile

The Magnificent Mile Association and Amdur Productions, Inc are proud to present the Magnificent Mile Art Festival, a two-day celebration of art, culture, and community. Today, Amy Amdur appeared on WGN-TV to offer a preview of items that will be available for sale. Taking place on June 22nd and 23rd from 10am to 5pm at 875 North Michigan Avenue, this free event will feature 60 artists from across four continents and 16 U.S. states. Artwork will encompass a variety of mediums including photography, paintings, clothing, jewelry, and furniture. The festival promises an immersive and stimulating experience, with engaging activities from our sponsors: 🖌 Unleash your inner artist with NASCAR's giant coloring mural. 🙂 Craft your own bobblehead masterpiece at State Farm's creation station. 🍢 Grab a refreshing popsicle with a small donation to Make-A-Wish Illinois, then browse summer finds from Psycho Bunny and Sur La Table, courtesy of 900 North Michigan Shops. We are delighted to inaugurate the summer season with this vibrant open-air art festival.

360 CHICAGO has a proven track record of exceeding expectations, and the upcoming renovation of the 95th and 96th floors of 875 North Michigan Avenue is sure to impress. Association President and CEO, Kimberly Bares, echoes this sentiment in this Chicago Tribune coverage: “360 Chicago is breaking all kinds of records, so they clearly understand what consumers crave...And having this space used by someone who we all agree is a successful and sophisticated operator will spill over to the rest of the Magnificent Mile.”

Last week, we welcomed our members to an unforgettable evening at the historic Richard H. Driehaus Museum! They were among the first to experience the newly renovated John B. Murphy Memorial Auditorium at our Membership Connection. Members also enjoyed exploring the stunning Nickerson Mansion, a Gilded Age gem. The evening provided a unique opportunity to delve into Chicago's rich history while mingling with fellow professionals. A big thank you to Lisa Key, the Museum's Executive Director, Nina Yung, Director of Development and Strategy, and Julie Treumann, Director of Marketing and communications, for their gracious hospitality and for allowing us to host our event in their magnificent space. A special shoutout to Blue Plate Catering for providing the delicious bites.

Many thanks to colleagues Tom Harris and Madelyn Wils, who graciously spent time with Bradley Borowiec, MSRE and me during our brief field trip to NYC. We met with Benediktas Gylys about the Portal in #flatiron and saw some incredible activations by the Times Square Alliance and the Fifth Avenue Association. We even got to meet up with Carolyn Dellutri, CAE and Nicole Thompson for some real pizza! #downtownmatters
