Prior to SensiML he worked as software engineer and data scientist at Intel and Dupont Pioneer. He holds a Ph.D in computational physics from Iowa State and a B.S. in Physics from Virginia Tech.

Excited to share insights from the tinyML Foundation EMEA 2024 innovation forum in Milan! I had the privilege of speaking on our latest breakthrough in **sensorless pattern recognition** using a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN). By running the DCNN as an observer alongside the STM32 Motor Control SDK, we've unlocked fascinating results without impacting the core control algorithm. The integration of tinyML on the STEVAL-PTOOL4A, based on the STM32G473, demonstrates how machine learning can coexist with traditional control systems, paving the way for smarter and more efficient technologies. A special shoutout to Subharshi Roy for the incredible Contribution. 🤝 The forum was not just about sharing knowledge but also about absorbing the creative energy from many friends and colleagues I met for the first time.
