    Prime Day is next week!🛒 Are you seeing your TACOS beginning to slightly increase due to a falling CVR%? If so, don’t worry! Adam Mellott uses his firsthand experience to explain why as Prime Day approaches, this is normal⬇️ While shoppers may be more price-conscious in the latter half of 2024 due to economic uncertainty and rising costs, they are still researching and building their baskets leading up to the event. Savvy Amazon shoppers often wait for Prime Day to make their purchases, especially for high-priced items. Currently, I'm looking for some heavy-duty e-bike locks for my wife and I as we live just outside of Eugene, Oregon, and do a lot of biking in town (if you know, you know 😅) Seatylock is doing a great job of educating shoppers who come in via "discovery keyword" (electric ebike accessories) on the functionality and advantages of their product. 🚲 Did I click on their ad? Yes. Did I save their product for later? Yes. Will I purchase next week when I can get a better deal? Absolutely. I've repeated this process at least eight times across various products and categories since Friday. Strategize accordingly🤠 Shoppers are researching and planning. 🛍 Ensuring your visibility within your category should be your top priority leading up to Prime Day! ⚡

    Is Your Branded SERP Ready for Prime Day? Adam Mellott explains why with Prime Day just around the corner, ensuring your brand’s search engine result page (SERP) is top-notch is crucial. ⬇️ Imagine this scenario: 1️⃣ I’m at Cabela's picking up a few items for a camping trip and spot some Minn Kota trolling motors. 2️⃣ I’m not currently in the market for a trolling motor, but it’s something I plan to buy this summer, so I may be apt to purchase during Prime Day when I know products will likely be discounted. 3️⃣ I’m not loyal to any brand, so I start researching. Minn Kota catches my eye, so I search for them on Amazon. 4️⃣ The first ad I see is a stunning Sponsored Brand Video by NEWPORT Vessels—eye-catching, great branding, cool product. I click and visit their Amazon Store. 5️⃣ I find that this brand and its products resonate more with my needs and are more affordable. Hypothetically, in this scenario, I didn't even know Newport Vessels existed. I searched for a direct competitor of this brand with full intent to educate myself on their brand and product offerings. Within 5-10 minutes, I not only am browsing the Newport Vessels store, but I now intend to purchase a trolling motor on Prime Day. All because an advertisement at top-of-search caught my attention. 👀 I'm one potential customer lost. Now multiply this by x number of shoppers per day leading up to Prime Day? 🧐 That's A LOT of traffic and potential customers being sent to a competitor store under your own brand name. Lesson: Make sure your SERP is optimized and your customer experience seamless for those entering the funnel via branded search. 💡 Don’t risk losing potential customers who are open to discovering new brands! Not every shopper searching for your brand name is "going to purchase anyways"  😎
