During my summer study abroad in Buenos Aires in 2013, I had a chance encounter with a group of individuals working to grow the game of lacrosse in Argentina. I spent the next weeks playing and practicing with them and coaching (entirely in Spanish) to best of my ability. After returning to the US, I maintained contact with them and helped raise money, support, and donated bags full of lacrosse equipment for their trip to the FIL World Lacrosse Games in Denver in July 2014. After returning to the US, I maintained contact with them and helped raise money, support, and donated bags full of lacrosse equipment for their trip to the FIL World Lacrosse Games in Denver in July 2014. The donated lacrosse equipment continues to be used in Argentina toward the growth of the sport for future generations. Most recently I competed with the team in the 2018 World Lacrosse Games in Israel and helped the team to a #29 ranking in the world.
