Provided expert feedback and input into a Human-Centered Design study to reduce Veteran suicide by helping Veterans find purpose and meaning during the Military Service to Veteran transition.

Led a presentation and panel discussion with two additional executives from Agile and Human-Centered Design firms for 30+ CMS program office directors and contracting officers on the topic Customer Collaboration Over Contract Negotiation. Discussed how to use Human-Centered Design tactics and techniques to understand unmet customer needs and co-design contracts that will best address them needs.

Facilitated a workshop for 10+ executives that lead SpaceX's supply chain function on Human-Centered Design and how to use it to best understand their internal customers (engineers) and external partners (supply base) and design solutions that will create a higher level of service and improved customer experience.

Provided expert input and feedback on research findings produced for a cross agency study on the Military Service to Veteran transition.

The USC Alumni Veterans Network (USCAVN) strengthens the community of Trojan veterans through social, educational and service-oriented engagement opportunities. The Alumni Veterans Network is open to all USC alumni who are veterans. I had the opportunity to serve as the Community Outreach Chair for a year.

Guest speaker and workshop facilitator for 150 investors and startup founders on Innovation, Human-Centered Design, and Entrepreneurship for UCI The Cove and Applied Innovation Accelerator.

Skateboard and surf mentor for inner city youth. Stoked uses board sports and culture to close the opportunity gap. They deliver on this value proposition by leveraging the power of community to give youth the skills, relationships, and experiences to succeed.

Executed veterans needs assessment study in San Francisco; identified and engaged ~100 veteran stakeholder groups – government, philanthropic, non-profits, academic institutions, and businesses – to gain support across San Francisco Veteran ecosystem for study launch. Efforts lauded by Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Invited by corporate executives to facilitate workshops for 200 military service members to help them to identify strengths and careers that would lead to a successful transition to civilian life. Visited by Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, congratulated by former President Bush for effort.
