Expectations And Tasks

• Manage personnel that can be global, regional or local area specific.
• Integrates facility management into business process.
• Build and maintain a strong team that will provide 1st class facility services.
• Contribute to enthusiastic, positive work climate that energizes others.
• Provide direction to team members to achieve corporate goals and be prepared to quickly adapt to changing environments.
• Develops and implements facilities strategy within area of responsibility in line with corporate and organizational overall strategy.
• Monitor and measure success as related to assigned KPI's.
• Provide solutions, problem solving and suggestions for improvements related to complex matters within his / her area of responsibility.
• Provide transparency for senior management.
• Understanding of processes and interfaces across organizational boundaries that relate to area of responsibility.
• Represent SAP to customers.
• Oversee budget planning and controls.
• Conduct performance/ salary management, address people matters, hire staff and develop talent
  
  

Facility Manager profile will contain three categories: (see below)

• The managers in all three categories will have 7-15 direct reports.
• Manager III (being the most senior) will have a management level of 4 and above and have responsibility for a Region or more than 5 countries. Role has a high level of budget responsibility and decisions have a high impact. Candidate will have 5+ years of management experience.
• Manager II will have a management level of 4 and above and have responsibility for a sub-region or 2-5 countries. Budget responsibility is at a medium level and decisions have a medium impact. Candidate will have 3+ years of management experience.
• Manager I will have a management level of 5 and above and have responsibility for a local area or 1 country. Budget responsibility is moderate along with decision impact. Candidate will have 1+ years of experience.
• Area 1 Manages Department personnel globally, regionally, or locally.
• Area 2 Manages people and daily operations; clearly define strategy for his/her team.
• Area 3 Train and develop talent to achieve organization goals.

Work Experence

• Candidate will have 8+ years of functional experience relevant to facilities or real estate management. Years of management experience required is: Mgr 5 to 10+, Mgr II 3+, Mgr III 5+)
• Fluent in oral & written English and local language preferred
