West Coast Construction Consulting firm (CA, AZ, NV) seeks an experienced licensed Engineer or Architect to work out of the San Diego office. Problem solver and critical thinker. Firm provides a variety of services including Building envelope consulting, fenestration, roofing /waterproofing analysis, forensic/failure cause and origin and expert witness services for construction defect and insurance liability claims. The firm consists of Architects, Contractors, Engineers and Cost Estimators. The candidate will perform site investigations of existing structures, review testing of building assemblies, forensic analysis, QA/QC of reconstruction projects, code analysis, plan review, technical report writing, deposition and arbitration testimony on various projects. Candidate should have experience with various building types. Excellent communication and technical writing skills required. Must have a min. of 10-15 years construction experience.
