The Cookware Company is currently seeking an Associate Creative Marketing Manager to join our dynamic internal Marketing and Creative Services team, based in New York City!


POSITION SUMMARY/OVERVIEW


As an Associate Creative Marketing Manager, you will report into the Director of Marketing and work closely with the Creative team as well as the E-commerce, Marketing and Sales Teams to support and build our brands across all customer touchpoints: photography, video, content, packaging, digital advertising, E-commerce, social media, retail stores and more.


You will be responsible for the visual representation of our brands, with a specific focus on online selling and the support of our many retail partners.


We are looking for a strong candidate with a great eye who knows how to create compelling content to support our products for online selling.


In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day creation of digital content, with a specific focus on our own E-Shops as well as all third-party retailers. You will work closely with both internal and external creative resources: copywriters, designers, freelancers and more. Creative project management and partnering with our sales teams are also important aspects of this role.


Simply said, this exciting role has a significant impact on how our brands are experienced in the marketplace, through the digital assets you will oversee and help create with the creative team.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITES


  • Lead the development of best-in-class customer facing experiences for all product, new launches and updates to existing collections.
  • Lead the development of creative assets for online selling. Have conversations with sales team and content creators to make sure we have full alignment over deliverables and expectations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Oversee creation of all online product/brand content, ensuring consistency regardless of retail channel or partner.
  • Responsible for managing and updating the Smartsheet Creative Team planning, supporting new marketing requests and all product content requirements. Organize launch kick-offs both internally and externally to align priorities and deliverables.
  • Review and provide feedback to creative team on briefed projects, ensuring quality objectives are met and strategic requirements are fulfilled.
  • Manage approvals for content prior to delivery and leverage.
  • Responsible for consistent, best in class and timely content across all retail platforms. Work with the sales team to determine timelines and expectations including quarterly audits to ensure proper execution.
  • Build strong relationships Internally and Externally based on mutual respect for delivering shared project outcomes.
  • Support the national sales team through asset creation, creative project management, presentation needs and overall timely support of product launches.
  • Be a trusted, inspiring and reliable partner for all sales colleagues.
  • Foster supportive retailer partnerships, working closely with peers at retailers to support and bring our initiatives to life.
  • Be a reliable partner and trusted guide to our creative teams (graphic designers, copywriters). Focus on clear expectations, efficient workflow and delivering high quality assets for our organization. This includes providing clear and constructive feedback throughout the creative development process.
  • Responsible for Asset Management: leverage Brand Folder as a gatekeeper for content, constantly evolving and improving leveraging of our assets.


QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, design or related field


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

Savvy Marketing and Creative expert, balanced with both experience in retail and project management


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Min of 2 years of experience in a similar position: Creative Project Management


SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • All-round capabilities, we’re looking for someone with a broad set of skills: highly flexible, resourceful, great communicator, strategic thinker with a great eye and experience in creating best in class content for consumer products.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attentive to detail, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and take initiative/ownership.
  • Assertive and pro-active team player, while being highly flexible and resilient in our fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Spanish, French, Dutch languages are a plus.
  • Dependable, reliable, with strong problem-solving abilities.


WORKING CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid - NYC & Remote
  • Occasional travel to the Irvington office required.
